Digital Humanist: Championing Responsible, Human-Centered AI and Ethics

Within Digital Humanism, I am committed to creating AI solutions that prioritize responsibility, ethics, and human welfare. My focus on responsible AI ensures transparency, fairness, and accountability, mitigating risks and aligning with societal values. By placing people at the core, my human-centered AI approach emphasizes respect for individual rights and the enhancement of human capabilities.

Ethics is fundamental to our mission. I embed ethical standards into every AI development stage, ensuring trust, privacy, and inclusivity. At Digital Humanist, I envision a future where AI serves humanity with integrity and respect.

MY NAME IS

I was born and raised in Treviso — a little gem near Venice known for its Prosecco, which I love (especially brut, of course). I’m deeply passionate about human-centered AI, but I’m also the kind of person who could happily live on chips w/ mayo and loves nothing more than a coastal drive in a classic car.

Friends say my ENTP personality keeps life interesting, as I’m always up for a good debate or diving headfirst into a new idea.

In my busy time as a Digital Innovation Intern at PwC Italy, I contribute to digital transformation initiatives within the Process Automation Centre of Excellence, where I contribute to digital transformation projects and deliver corporate training on AI.

Previous experiences as a content specialist and project manager have equipped me with organisational and communication skills, which enhance my approach to collaborative, high-impact projects.

My research focuses on human-centered AI, with a particular interest in the ethical and societal impacts of generative AI. For my Master’s thesis, I conducted a study on how AI literacy and prompt engineering affect the use of LLMs in higher education. This experience allowed me to explore human-AI interaction as well as ethical considerations, strengthening my commitment to responsible AI practices in real-world contexts.
